CT Offshore is operating a fully developed safety
management system according to ISM requirements. The system is
implemented on all our vessels and furthermore, it is every
employee's responsibility to participate actively in the
development and implementation of new or revised procedures and
policies. The system is based on documented processes that focus on
all onshore and offshore health, safety, security and environmental
aspects
and includes the requirements of relevant legislation and internal
specifications.
We operate on open seas, often in very harsh weather and we work with complex equipment. Therefore we put safety first in all our operations and ensure a high level of understanding through regular exercises and training. Different types of on board emergency and safety exercises involving all or part of the crew and visitors take place on a regular basis to ensure that every employee knows where to be and how to act in a real emergency situation.
In time we will implement ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and the MLC Convention. First step is ISO 9001, which is expected to be incorporated during winter 2011 and result in a certification in early 2012.
